The Space Science and Engineering (SSE) group researches on the motion of objects and develops algorithms to control the object to a desired trajectory. The SSE faculty also design, build, test and operate space systems.  This group performs experiments and computational analysis to predict and control the motion of mechanical and space systems and to understand the life-cycle of space systems.  The is composed of a group of faculty and students within the MAE department and affiliates in the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and the Miller School of Medicine.
