The Clean and Renewable Energy (CRE) cluster studies the energy extraction and storage from natural sources that are clean and renewable, meaning the energy is naturally replenished. This group performs experiments and computational analysis to predict the performance of the energy system such as hydrogen combustion, fuel cells, and battery materials and technologies. MAE faculty in this cluster collaborate with other researcher within the College of Engineering and beyond.
