The GE group studies the extraction of energy from natural sources that are renewable, meaning the energy is naturally replenished. This group performs experiments and computational analysis to predict the performance of the energy system and compares with fossil fuel energy systems.  The cluster will be composed of a group of faculty and students within the MAE department. At present, the GE group uses labs used for both research and teaching of undergraduate courses.
